Summer Painting Activities

It's summer!~
Although, I am happy I am also unhappy, because it is VERY hot in my neck of the woods.

I have a few projects completed and others in the works. My camera is broken - I dropped it at the zoo in May. I have no idea when I will be getting a new one. I do have a webcam that can take pictures, but the quality is bad. Not to mention how hard it is to get a picture of something far away.

Tablecloth

I finished up a tablecloth for the kitchen. My mom bought me fabric for my birthday and let me pick it out. This spring I hope I can pain this table white.

Cup and Saucer

Cup and saucer set from thrift store. Very elegant and pretty. A new favorite treasure!

Shopping day!

Today we went out to two thrift stores. Lucky day! Here's what came home..

White Christmas

Christmas is over until next year. The build up to it is so exciting I am sad when it is over. :( But, that's why the day is so special. Because it only last a short time!
We got a white Christmas this year. It snowed all day Christmas Eve. We have a husky and this is his first xmas and first snow. At first he didnt know what to think when I opened the door to take him out. Then he had so much fun running in it, laying in it, and eating it!

 Yes, my toes were freezing!


Well, I wanted to post a few things I have been up to lately "home wise".
I am fixing up this pillow case with pink roses on it. It was my great grandmother's. I am not sure how old it is. The pillow is tagged JC Penney. Both end were completely falling apart. I am only able to hand sew, so it takes me time.

I got a small area to hang a few shirts and light jackets, I wanted to put all my lovely dresses but it couldnt hold them. Way too heavy! eep!
